SAP Table

This section provides information on how a SAP Table can be connected. Before creating a Function, ensure you have already created the corresponding System within a System Line.

Connect to SAP Table​

In order to connect to a SAP Table, create a new Function in the menu 'Virtual Datasets' and directly assign it to a Category.
Next, select the relevant Technical Handler 'SAP_Table'.
Fill all other configuration (e. g. a descriptive Short Name and Description) as specified.

For the Technical Parameters, please specify the following options. The options in BOLD are REQUIRED:

  • COLUMNS: List of columns to return from the table.
  • TABLENAME: The table name.

User parameters​

User Parameters will be applied as filters on the table content. In general, all types of Parameters are available and can be applied.

After saving the settings (including enabling the function), you can open the "Test Bench" via the button "Try in Test Bench" and execute the Query. After a second the data should appear below in a table.
