Overview
The following provides an overview of all available Source Systems which can be connected by VDP and currently are verified by us. Within these Source Systems specific objects can be connected like files or data tables. In VDP these objects which can handle the data connection to one object are called Query Handlers. There are very specific Query Handlers designed to connect to particular data objects within systems like SAP, and more general ones that can be used across various systems, such as the ODBC Handler for all relational databases. This is why the number of Source Systems differs from the number of Query Handlers.
In this context, "verified" means officially tested and supported by VDP. The Query Handlers might also work for different types of relational databases, but so far, they are only officially supported for MS SQL Server.
The product team at VDP continuously develops new possible connections based on users" requirements. If your Source System is not listed here, please feel free to contact the team directly.
